On this uneventful Monday, the 10th of November 2025, I have decided to shock the world by making a long anticipated announcement. Yes, the time has finally come - the time to formally announce that the migration to my new website, sebastiansela.se, is finally complete!
Like I said a year ago, I have a much better workflow with the new website, which facilitates a lot of the development and has made it a much better website for both you and me. Comfort brings performance, or something like that, and even just writing and formatting this post for this site proves it for me. You may be wondering why it took a year for me to finish the migration. In short, I haven't been as productive with my personal projects this year as I hoped I would be. Anyway, I only just got done adding Mattips which was the last missing feature yet to be migrated. With that, it's complete! Anything you can find here can be found at sebastiansela.se, so please check it out if you haven't! Here's an overview of the available pages as of writing and related improvements.
Current pages and related improvements/additions
- Portfolio - Check out projects I've worked on, including multiple screenshots for them!
- Blog - Read longer textposts, now sorted by Category! Tags are also functional now, and you can leave comments on related Bluesky posts and have them show up on the site!
- Recommendations - Things I like, with improved presentation, and a bunch of new additions!
- About - Summary of who I am, including Trivia FAQ!
- Contact - Shoot me an email or find my social media channels!
- Games - Itself an indexing page, it contains links to pages about my games! (Currently Nonogos and Assemble & Ascendle exist)
- Random Color Palette Generator - RCPG exists with a somewhat improved design!
- Mattips - Mattips is back with an improved backend that makes it more versatile!
- Perfect Pokémon Pseudonyms - A brand new page where I talk about the cool/funny/whatever names I've given my perfect / 100% / 4* Pokémon in Pokémon GO!
In addition, I've written a couple of new blogposts over the year, such as my thoughts on the summer time VS standard time debate.
Like I pondered last year, where does that leave my Neocities page? I’ll still be leaving it as is indefinitely. I did have use for it as a backup page, so if nothing else I'll keep using it for that if needed. My thoughts on changing the design still remain in the back of my head, but I don't think they'll happen. One day, maybe. I'll be updating the Mattips page to receive info from my new site, so you'll still be able to use it here and maybe even receive new additions after all these years, now that it's easy for me to add new entries. Don't know if/when I'll get to doing that for new blogposts, given its structure is way different than Mattips. In any case, don’t expect a lot from this page from now on. For any new blogposts, please visit the new site's blog. And don't forget that you can find all my socials on the Contact page or in the header on this site.
Before I end this post: As of writing, this page has amassed over 67 000 views (insert 6-7 joke here) since it launched around 3.5 years ago, an increase of 17 000 since last year despite my lack of activity! I'm still surprised it has so many views, even if all the views were to come from me working on the page (though now I know it isn't just me!). No matter what, I want to thank everyone for visiting this page, whether you’ve read all my posts or only stopped by once. Hope yyou've been enjoying the new site thus far!
